National Water Company Incentive Program in Saudi Arabia
WHAT WE DID
RESULTS
Designing an Incentive Program that Motivates Citizens to Reduce their Water Consumption
In line with Vision 2030, and in an effort to establish a sustainable water sector, the Saudi government-owned company, the National Water Company (NWC) initiated a national program for rationalizing water consumption in the Kingdom, setting ambitious targets that include slashing usage by nearly 24 percent by 2030.
To help the National water company achieve its
2030 objectives, our team has designed and built an incentive-based program to reward Saudi citizens for their water-saving efforts. We have created an online smart meter that tracks
a user’s water usage and compares it to his yearly average water consumption;
the more you save water, the higher the value
of your reward. We also deployed our Reward Catalogue to ensure citizens enjoy
a seamless experience and a variety of rewards and benefits from the huge
partnership network we created from water bill payments, deals, and offers from
different brands and categories to point exchange with leading programs in KSA
and the region.
